Lake Rotoiti Classic and Wooden Boat Gathering (25th Parade at Waitangi Weekend)

Saturday 5th February 10:00am – 3:00pm
Lake Rotoiti, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand

‘The 25th annual boat parade and fun weekend begins on the 5th February 2022, Waitangi weekend, and we would love to see as many classic or wooden boats of any type register for a modest fee to join our parade, and make it the biggest ever!’

Rotorua Off Road Trail Run / Walk

Sunday 27th February 2022 7:30am – 2:00pm
Whakawerawera Forest

Make sure you are part of the outstanding Off-Road Half Marathon this distance is a two-lap course utilizing scenic trails and smooth gravel forest roads.
Other options are the Mitre 10 Mega 10km Run or Walk event and the Red Stag Timber 5km Fun Run/Walk event. These events also utilize a mix of scenic forest trails and smooth gravel forest roads in the Whakarewarewa Forest.

There will be activities for the whole family to enjoy with every competitor receiving a medal.

For the first time ever, SIX60 will come to Rotorua with the first show of the tour being played at Rotorua International Stadium. This will be a monumental occasion for the region with fans from all over the Bay of Plenty, the Waikato and other parts of the country sure to attend.

There are great walks, spot prizes and entertainment planned for the 29th Anniversary of the Rotorua Walking Festival. With walks ranging from 5km to 42km, there are events for all ages and fitness levels.

Enjoy a free guided tour by bike through some of Rotorua’s cycleways and explore the impressive art works located in central Rotorua, Government Gardens, Kuirau Park, Rotorua Lakefront and Sulphur Point.

Starting from Te Manawa (corner of Hinemoa and Tutanekai Streets) in the heart of Rotorua the tours are expected to take approximately 1.5 – 2 hours.
