For those who like to travel in a bit of style, the new InterCity GOLD buses offer a limited number of soft leather reclining chairs. These new seats provide plenty of room to stretch your legs. The new InterCity GOLD service is now available for an additional charge (from $12) on their overnight services between Auckland and Wellington*. There is a 7.30pm bus from Auckland to Rotorua on Friday nights that will have you in town ready to dance the night away with friends!
